NHSCA Final Four: Blair Academy Shows Why They Are No. 1
Dear wrestling enthusiast,
Blair Academy (NJ) showed why they are the #1 ranked high school wrestling program in the country this past weekend in Easton, PA at the NHSCA Final 4 of High School Wrestling.
Coach Jeff Buxton and his Bucs went 3-0 and looked outstanding against Great Bridge (VA), Rio Rancho (NM), and Easton (PA).
Easton was especially sharp as well, defeating Rio Rancho soundly and decisively beating Great Bridge by winning 9 of 14 matches.
Outstanding individual match-ups and upsets took place as well, including Alex Krom’s (Easton) win over Adam Frey (Blair), and Mario Mason’s (Blair) win over Jordan Frishkorn (Great Bridge)

There will be a match-by-match rebroadcast of the dual meets on www.NHSCA.com this Saturday, from 1PM-8:30PM. Great Bridge v. Blair is the first match that is covered. Easton v. Great Bridge is covered in Round II, and Easton v. Blair is covered in Round III. The oringinal broadcast was heard by apprx. 40,000 wrestling fans.
