Real Pro Wrestling final
Former Walsh Jesuit wrestler Joe Heskett will compete today in the 163-pound final of Real Pro Wrestling’s made-for-television tournament.
The show, which places former Olympic and college wrestlers in Olympic-style matches, will air on Akron’s PAX 23 at 4 p.m.
No. 2 seed Heskett, who wrestles for the Iowa Stalkers — a team in the wrestling league — will face top-seeded Joe Williams of the Chicago Groove.
Heskett, who is an assistant coach at Cal-Poly, advanced to today’s final with wins against Sean Harrington of the Texas Shooters and Ramico Blackmon of the New York Outrage.
The show will also air on FSN May 18 and re-air May 25.
