The 2005 Purdue Fall Wrestling Clinic, to be held Oct. 21-23, will provide wrestlers in grades 2-12 with lessons in technique, drilling and strategy. The clinic will be held in the new state-of-the-art Blake Family Wrestling Training Center in Lambert Fieldhouse.
Purdue coaches Jessie Reyes (head coach), Scott Hinkel (assistant coach) and Tom Erikson (assistant coach) will provide the instruction in the clinic designed to get each participating wrestler ready for the 2005-06 season through education, motivation, observation, technique and on-mat training.
The cost of the camp is $145/wrestler, with teams of 10 or more receiving a $10/wrestler discount. Each participant will receive a t-shirt and participate in 10 hours of instruction, drilling and live wrestling. The clinic will also include viewing a Purdue wrestling practice session, academic seminar, strength and conditioning seminar, and a team-building workout. Lunch and dinner will also be provided on Saturday.
