The National High School Coaches Association Seniors Wrestling Championships are returning to Pittsburgh.
The 17th annual event, held at Duquesne University’s Palumbo Center in the 1990s before departing for Delaware and Ohio, will be March 23-26, 2006, at the Petersen Events Center.
Last year’s tournament in Cleveland, Ohio, attracted 800 entries from 47 states. Only seniors who have been state champions or runners-up are automatically eligible for the event. Preceding the senior tournament is the second annual junior and the inaugural sophomore championships from March 21-24.
The PIAA wrestling finals are March 9-11 at Hershey
