From staff and wire reports
Josh Koscheck, a former NCAA wrestling champion who recently moved to Fresno, is one of the participants in Spike TV’s reality show “The Ultimate Fighter, “which airs on Monday nights on the cable television channel.
Koscheck fought Chris Leben in Mondays’s 11 p.m. episode of “The Ultimate Fighter, “which through competition whittles a group of 16 fighters down to one champion, who will earn a contract with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) series.
A four-time NCAA All-American at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania who claimed the 2001 national title at 174 pounds, Koscheck is managed by Fresno developer DeWayne Zinkin, a former standout Fresno State wrestler in the early 1990s.
