Hope Still Remains to Save Montclair State Wrestling Program
Dear Friends,
I recently met with the President Cole and several of her VPs to discuss the current decision to cut the Wrestling Program. I am pleased to report the administration is open to working with us to bring wrestling back if we can convert the recent outpouring of support into tangible dollars to both sustain and grow the program.
It is vital that all who can make a financial contribution contact me as soon as possible. My plan is to meet again with school officials in the next 10 days to verify and confirm that through the generous contributions of our supporters we can fund our program for at least the next 5 years.
I have taken some time off from work to continue my efforts to get wrestling re-instated at Montclair State University. I can make myself available for any meetings with potential lead donors to review the history of MSU wrestling and the direction we are taking the program.
Thank you again for your support. We would have never gotten to this point without the stream of phone calls, emails, and letters from you. The 3rd period is upon us and must work harder than ever to achieve victory. Please email, write or call me to discuss or confirm your level of commitment.
